Traditional Palestinian Fattet Hummus

Equipment

  • 1 blender

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Cups Dehydrated Garbanzo Beans
  • 1/2 Cup Tahini
  • 1/2 Cup Lemon Juice Fresh squeezed

Instructions
 

  • Soak raw dehydrated garbanzo beans overnight
  • Rinse thoroughly and change water to reduce gas
  • Boil garbanzo beans until soft, remove froth while boiling, save water for step 7
  • Blend 4 cups of warm cooked garbanzo beans until smooth
  • Add ½ cup of tahini and blend
  • Add ½ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice and blend
  • Slowly add water from step 3 to achieve desired texture
  • Add a Whole Lotta Love to complete the recipe
  • Garnish with extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, garbanzos, and parsley to taste.
